Join Water Bar Co-Director Jennifer Arave for a roundtable discussion on performing arts and the environment, in honor of National Water Dances, a collective dance event across the US.
This discussion will present four artists who make performance and dance works in consideration of their environment: Whether natural or constructed, measured by societal influence, or governed through a scientific or political lens. Learn how they translate their perceptions of these environments into an artistic performance statement on the world we live in.
We will welcome Laurie Van Wieren (9X22), Scotty Reynolds (Mixed Precipitation and Picnic Operetta), Rae Eden Frank (DYFIT and National Water Dances) and Marylee Hardenbergh (Global Water Dances).
