Monoprints can combine techniques of the printer, painter, collage artist, and photographer. They are well-suited to books or stand alone works of art. Prints are the ideal medium for experimenting with layers of imagery and color. Students in this class will experiment with transparency, ghost images, silhouette, dendrites, and new textures. Participants will explore a new technique in each class. Time will be given for students to explore their own ideas after each class demo. No experience necessary but come prepared to get hooked on printmaking!
