The Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department to bring you and active shooter response training. In this training, provided by Officer Lafe Hendrickson, you will learn how to prepare, recognize, respond, and recover before, during, and after an active assailant or workplace violence event.
What is A.L.I.C.E? The National Standard of Care and the leading training solution for active shooter response, ALICE Training provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to ensure their survival and minimize the loss of life in the event of an aggressive intruder. Unlike conventional lock down, ALICE Training empowers Police/LE, K-12 Schools, Healthcare Facilities, Higher Education, Businesses, Government, and Houses of Worship to participate in their own survival and lead others to safety.
A small fee of $5 will be charged for this presentation with the profit benefiting the Waushara County K-9 Unit. This training will be held at the WWII Memorial Building (440 W. Main St. Wautoma) on Thursday, April 19th from 6-8:00pm. RSVP by Monday, April 16th. To receive a registration form, please contact the Chamber at 920-787-3488 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Light snacks will be provided.
