Menudo is a traditional Mexican soup made with hominy, beef and a pepper broth that is commonly eaten in Mexican communities on the weekends and legend has it that it is the only true cure of a hangover. It is usually best when it is made by your mother or family, so curator Harry Sanchez's mom will be here to make authentic menudo straight from the border.

This breakfast is part of 1,954 Miles, a group show curated by our third and final Curatorial Resident, Harry Sanchez Jr.

With his exhibition, 1,954 Miles, curator and artist Harry Sanchez Jr. aims to give a voice to a few artists from La Frontera, to use the space as a megaphone to represent the complex thoughts and feelings that come from people living in the contested border between Mexico and the United States.
