Held monthly, this class includes study and practice of meditation. We will explore how we relate to our body, heart and mind in meditation to bring these three centers of experience into one expression of our being. We will explore different styles of meditation, such as analytical, contemplative, sitting, walking and employing the use of breath, sound and visualization. We will study the philosophy of meditation through various traditions, such as Classic Indian, Kundalini, Zen, Taoism, Tantric Buddhism and Sufism. Applying study and practice, we will learn to settle ourselves into the still, quiet place that allows us to first glimpse, and then rest in our natural open, clear, luminous, wisdom state. Suggested Donation: $10 - $20.
