North Conway Library presents:
“African Photo Safari”
Kathy & Ed Bergeron will share their experiences and photographs from a safari through Kenya and Tanzania, Africa.
Come join the local photographers on a journey starting in Kenya with images of elephants and glimpses of Mt. Kilimanjaro. In Tanzania, where the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera is located, are lions and hippos.
Further south they headed to the Serengeti where they captured images of big cats, zebra, wildebeest, and gazelle. They were able to meet members of the Maasai Tribe and receive a tour of their village. One more stop at Lake Manyara where they photographed buffalo and many species of birds.
On the journey north back to Kenya they photographed cityscapes and people in their daily lives.
This library program will be held at the Weather Discovery Center; no reservations necessary. There will be time after the presentation for questions and discussion.
Homemade cookies will be served and coffee is generously provided by Frontside Grind in North Conway.
The program is free of charge, although donations to the Library are greatly appreciated. For more information about the program, visit www.northconwaylibrary.com
