This class teaches how to draw portraits realistically. Concepts covered will be how to start a drawing sight-size, create an accurate foundational construct, and how to achieve value accuracy, as well as aspects for capturing realism, anatomy of the head/face, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and finishing techniques. We will use graphite pencil and a photo reference of your choice, so your project is personal and fun. The class is designed to benefit all levels from beginner to advanced. The supply list is attached, as is the handout for guidelines to taking good reference photos. This is an excellent class for those looking to take their portraits to the next level, and the three days allows us to really develop, if not complete, our projects.
