Spend the eve of Mother’s Day shopping for plants at the annual May Mart Plant Sale at West Overton Village and Museums on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held indoors in the Overholt Room located in the Distillery Museum’s lower level.

Shoppers can buy their favorite veggies, annuals, hanging baskets, ferns, herbs, perennials, berries, succulents, geraniums, houseplants, and more. Visitors can still bring a plant and take a plant for the swap table.

The West Overton Garden Society, West Overton Village, and the Scottdale Historical Society are collaborating on this annual fundraiser.

“May Mart has become a traditional place to shop for Mother’s Day gifts and everything for the garden,” said Jan Brubacher, May Mart coordinator. “We’re happy to be working with the Scottdale Historical Society volunteers.”

West Overton Village will host the Makers' Market, an open-air spring market shopping event, showcasing the talents of more than 50 artisans in our area. Also held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market will be located in the green spaces throughout West Overton Village.

Parking and admission to the May Mart Plant Sale and Makers’ Market is free. The event will be held rain or shine at West Overton Village and Museums, located at 109 West Overton Road, Scottdale, PA 15683.
