On Good Friday, Western Hanover Church will be hosting Stations of the Cross, a self guided, interactive worship experience. “Stations” is a unique and powerful worship experience centered around the Stations of the Cross (artistic representations depicting scenes of Jesus on his way to his death on the cross). This experience allows you to “walk the stations” – take a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer – by meditating on these scenes of Christ’s suffering and death… and in doing so, in a very small way, gives you the opportunity to participate in Jesus’ final hours.
On Good Friday, March 30th between the hours of 7am-noon and again between the hours of 3pm-8pm, you are invited to stop by WHC and participate. Because it is a self-guided prayer journey, it will take a minimum of 15 minutes up to an hour to walk the stations. There will be guides on hand to assist you and answer any questions. This is something that families are invited and encouraged to experience together. We are honored to be hosting this experience. We really hope you will stop by and participate. It is one of the most powerful ways to experience the Crucifixion and Resurrection of King Jesus!
