In a spring concert that is not to be missed, the choirs of Westminster Buffalo join forces with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra to host “The Musical Life of Haydn” on April 13, 7:30 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 724 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY, and April 15, 4:00 PM at King Concert Hall, SUNY Fredonia.
The program includes two works of Franz Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 44 in F-sharp minor and the Theresien Mass. These two pieces received critical acclaim during their first performances in the late 1700’s and continue to delight audiences today.
Admission to the concert is free in Buffalo, with donations gratefully received to benefit the Westminster Friends of Music and the Western New York Chamber Orchestra.
