Thank you for demonstrating interest in Kentucky State University's Center for Family Nutrition and Wellness Education (CFNWE) pilot program, Rookie Cooking Camp (RCC). RCC is a program designed for middle and high school students to introduce them to cooking techniques, food safety measures, and basic nutrition concepts. Cooking is simply a lost art form and basic knowledge of nutrition is vital for students to be as healthy as possible. Here is some critical information to RCC:

After RCC, students will. . . .
Know basic nutrition education
Understand cooking and baking techniques
Grasp fundamentals in food safety
Want to come back next year!!!

During RCC, students will receive. . .
Free lunch that they prepare
Educational tools to help them cook in the future
A cookbook to further their experience in cooking
New friendships!

There is NO COST for this camp but space is limited!
