About the Class:

Literally translated from Sanskrit, Vinyasa means “connection.” Vinyasa Yoga synchronizes movement with breath which invites a greater sense of self-awareness, balance, and harmony with yourself.

This flow class offers a healthy mix of Hatha and vinyasa yoga principles. The moving asanas will transition naturally between the sustained holding of postures seen in the Hatha discipline and the free flowing tenants predominant in vinyasa classes. Our class will begin with a progressive full body stretch before giving way to a well developed warrior flow series and finishing right back where we started to bring the class full circle. To go along with this, we will delve into the connection between breath and movement and the synchronicity between the two. All of this combines to provide a balanced class that will leave you feeling both energetic and completely relaxed.

About the instructor:

Dillion Schmidt was first introduced to yoga through a desire to become more present in his day to day life. Soon after, he travelled to India to complete his 200 hour yoga teacher training and immerse himself more fully in the yogic lifestyle. Since that time, Dillon has used his training to become more mindful of his surroundings as well as teach classes in India, Ireland, and Canada.
