Balancing through the seasons - Spring!!
April in Minnesota means days that are warm and wet, and days that are cold and windy. It is the official end of winter, and we are starting to see spring. Join us for a restorative yoga practice to lighten up and relax into the warm sunny days that are waiting for us!!
This is a restorative yoga practice - we will spend quite a lot of time in a single pose - with the body fully supported and cushioned. We ask that you bring two firm bed pillows and two blankets from home, to help you find comfort and rest in the poses.
Yurt Classroom – a completely screened in, round structure surrounded by nature. There is a wood stove in the yurt to keep us warm! We recommend that you dress in layers, as this is a gentle practice - we will not be generating a lot of heat. Warm socks are a great idea.
This is yoga class is well suited to practitioners of all levels – beginners are welcome. (You must be able to get up and down from positions on the floor - but it is a very gentle practice suited to most!) Through a carefully designed series of poses and breath techniques we will invite relaxation into the body and mind – allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the present moment. Enjoy the tranquil calm that surrounds the Will Heal Farm as we practice in the fresh air, with the sounds of nature all around.
