Welcome! WillowsEdge is happy to announce Yoga by Sarah Rever as part of our WE Transform series! These classes are completely open to the public and start Tuesday April 3rd. We have conveniently located all the dates and times below. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. We hope to see everybody there.

Class Descriptions:

Yoga for the Young:
Tuesdays 5:00 PM-5:45 PM

This class is open for children or for those just young at heart! Each class we will explore shapes, sounds, giggles, and maybe some songs as we move our bodies to that weeks theme. Yoga teaches us to be calm during stressful situations, it teaches us to let go of fear and anger, and meditation calms the mind to allow us to live in the moment and focus. Be prepared to let loose, be silly, and still be mindful while we learn core concepts of yoga.

Yoga Flow
Tuesdays 6:00 PM-7:15 PM
Saturdays 11:30 AM-12:45 PM

This class is open to all levels and modifications will be available. This is a judgment free zone as we move through a slow flow focusing on building a little bit of heat and listening to our bodies. We will focus on proper alignment, being present, and breathing through each sequence. This time is for you and your body, don’t let anything else matter!

Yin Yoga
Tuesdays 7:30 PM-9:00 PM

Yin and Yang… We spend most of our days in the yang stye of life… in other words, active! This class is great for slowing down, relaxing those tired muscles, and brains, opening your heart from sitting at a desk all day, and escaping for some “me” time. Unwind in this class that is open to all levels!

Emotional Self Care
Saturdays 9:00 AM-10:00 AM

Yoga has been shown to help treat stress, depression, some research even shows that yoga postures and breath practice can improve your mood and soothe your nerves, which will allow more space for you to be happier and calmer under pressure, and therefore more resilient.Take this time to turn your attention inward. Learn to be in the present moment with yourself and your body. Take away techniques to help you relax in and out of yoga class.
This is a slower paced class open to all levels as we discover ways to reconnect your mind, and your body.

What’s UpDog
10:15 AM-11:15 AM

The mother of all beginner classes! We will spend time breaking down the tough questions that all new yogis may have, and addressing core concepts of the practice. We will break down some yoga stereotypes covering some of the following and so much more:

What positions are called?

“I can’t do yoga because I can’t touch my toes.”
What are blocks/straps/cushions for?
How do you safely move through yoga?
What is yoga? And perhaps more importantly what is yoga not?

Don’t Hate, Meditate!
1:00 PM-1:45 PM

Open to all! We will discover different types of meditation techniques such as, using imagery, chanting, mantras, walking, etc. We will spend out time turning inward and setting our attention to align with our intention. No payment is required for this time together, but donations are greatly appreciated.

PLEASE come with your comfortable clothes, come with your questions. Leave judgment of yourself and others at the door. This is a safe place to learn, move, and experience something new. This class is still open to all levels! It is open to all body types, colors, shapes, genders, and ages.
