Members of the North Carolina Homeowners Alliance and the Winston-Salem Regional Association of REALTORS® know that we all benefit from strong relationships with our local elected officials. That’s why we are partnering to host Representative Ed Hanes and Representative Kyle Hall for a forum on homeowner issues on April 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event is a great opportunity to meet your legislator, and I strongly encourage you to invite your neighbors and friends. We want to make this event a true homeownership forum.
The General Assembly is starting to set its priorities for this year, and homeowners deserve to be part of the discussion. We are holding this open forum so that attendees will have a chance to ask their legislators a few questions about issues at the General Assembly.
There are a wide range of issues at the General Assembly that have a direct impact on homeowners, including the mortgage interest deduction, orphaned roads, and transparency on insurance rates. So, please encourage homeowners to register and attend!
We will serve a full lunch for attendees. The doors open at 11:45 a.m., the event starts promptly at 12:00 p.m., and it lasts until 1:00 p.m.
Space is limited and the event is free, so please RSVP today.
