Hello All, the UW-Whitewater Sculpture Students, Alumni, and Department are going to be manning an iron crew at The Whitewater Maker's Space on April 7th! Want to see some molten Iron?! Want us to pour your artwork? See the link below about getting your hands on a scratch-block for us to pour the day of the event. Watching the spectacle is totally free, and modest charge for a scratch-block if you choose to make one!

If you want to watch pre-pour preparations or finish up last minute scratch blocks, I'd come around 10:00am on Saturday. We usually have hot metal by 11:00am which begins the festivities. Event goes until all scratch-blocks are poured and cooled, which varies but 3:00pm is usually the wrap up time. The event is family friendly, and a great activity to do together! It certainly isn't an a run of the mill experience, but a must attend you'll remember for a long time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me, or the folks at Wisconsin Makers Inc.; hope to see you there!
