Personal Stories, Philosophies & Rising Above Society-Given Standards, with Tessa Smith and Faith Dickinson
On April 4, join us as we feature two incredible young women who will share words of inspiration, hope, and support about how their lives have been changed by cancer.
19-year-old Tessa Smith is a two-time cancer survivor and has been an inspiration to other young patients and survivors after sharing her journey over the years. Her courageous attitude has inspired the lives of all around her through her speaking engagements and as an ambassador for SickKids Foundation and the Terry Fox Foundation.
14-year-old Faith Dickinson uses her compassionate efforts to comfort those suffering from cancer. The Cuddles for Cancer creator makes fleece blankets for cancer patients, veterans and soldiers. Since starting the initiative when she was nine, Faith has made more than 3,000 blankets, raised more than $30,000 to fund her Cuddles for Cancer charity and shipped blankets around the world.
