Wonder Works is celebrating Space Day! on Saturday, April 28. Space Day! participants will have a chance to launch stomp rockets, make craters, explore magnetic fields, watch water flow down miniature mountains, make space-related crafts, and much more. Space Day! is part of the nationwide Explore Science: Earth & Space program, which is designed to engage audiences in the awe-inspiring fields of Earth and space science.
This year the Explore Science: Earth & Space project will power events at more than 250 museums and educational institutions across the country. The Science Museum of Minnesota leads the project, in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), using toolkits developed and distributed nationwide by the National Informal STEM Education Network (NISE Net).
