Our Young Rangers after-school club in the woods returns. New kids are very welcome to join us at Felin Puleston Outdoor Centre, Erddig. Weekly outdoor adventures including bushcraft, outdoor play, games, campfire cooking and more, leading up to the summer break.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
At Woodland Classroom we are passionate about getting kids back to nature, where every child can thrive. Young Rangers is a weekly after-school club for primary school aged children. There are no targets to meet, no curriculum, no differentiation of abilities, just learning through play and growing in social and emotional intelligence… and lots of mud.
The campfire is burning, the tools have been sharpened and the woods are ready to welcome your children. We're looking forward to getting into nature and leading your children through a host of outdoor activities, as well as plenty of time for free play and blowing off steam after the school day.
Young Rangers is open to all children aged between 6 - 11 years.
A snack and drinks are included with each session. We often cook something up on the fire with the children too.
WHERE IS IT?
The club is based at Felin Puleston Outdoor Centre on the National Trust's Erddig estate, on the doorstep of Wrexham town. The Centre has proper toilets and free parking. Activities will be based around this space and the surrounding parkland, being outdoors as much as possible. We also have use of the main activity room should we get really foul weather at a session.
