Join us on Saturday, June 2nd from 12-7pm for our Annual Hockessin Volunteer Fire Company Appreciation Day!
Hockessin Fire Company - Station 19 will be here on the farm with their fire trucks and ambulance to say hello and promote fire safety.
The kids can get an up close and personal look at all the equipment, and even climb aboard!

Get a great bite to EAT!
The fireman will be here all night leading up to the event. Why?? Because we are having a pig roast! They will be selling pulled pork sandwiches with your choice of BBQ sauces. They will also have assorted chips and drinks available to go with it, but these sandwiches are really delicious. Remember that all monies from these sandwiches and food will go directly to helping the Fire Company.

Get your chance to win $500!
*COW PIE BINGO* Yes, cow pie bingo. At 7pm, we will release one of our jersey cows into our bingo board painted pasture. We will wait until she "does her business", and whichever box it lands in will be our $500 winner! The tickets are $5 each and you may purchase as many as you like, because it will increase your chances of winning. You DO NOT need to be present to win! These tickets will be on sale, here in our Creamery, as well as in some local Hockessin businesses. All monies from ticket sales will go directly to the Fire Company.

GET YOUR OWN COW PIE SUNDAE!
To keep with the spirit of the day, sales from the Cow Pie Sundae in the Creamery will all be donated to the Fire Company as well. A delicious brownie from Drip Cafe, two scoops of your favorite ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry.

This event is meant to bring our community, families & businesses alike, altogether to get to know our firefighters and show them how much we appreciate them keeping our community safe. Come out and show your support for the men & women who volunteer to protect our community.
