Brief Overview of Worcester County 4-H Small Bore .22 rifle Classes
This .22 rifle shooting sports program through the University of Maryland Extension Worcester County 4-H Youth Development Program and our Certified 4-H .22 Small bore rifle Instructor Bill Hardy – will provide your 4-Her with a hands on opportunity to learn by doing - There will be classroom time and project information given out at each shoot. . Your 4-Her will shoot the 1st time they hold the .22 rifle.
Why Does the University of Maryland Extension Worcester County 4-H Have Shooting Sports?
Like all of our 4-H programs, the purpose of shooting sports programs is youth development and teaching of life skills to young people. Our programs are valuable for helping young people develop self-confidence, personal discipline, responsibility, teamwork, self-esteem and sportsmanship. The discipline and self-control required for responsible firearms use carries over into many other aspects of life.

To participate in Worcester County .22 Shoots:
Parent or Guardian must sign the parental consent release form for youth to participate
Be a current 2018 registered 4-Her age of 8 to 18 years old
Register for these classes NO later than Monday April 30th, 2018
You must wear closed toed shoes; Sneakers Preferred
You must wear Ear and Eye protection at all times
You must wear a ball cap
All Worcester County Shooting Sports programs have a registration fee of $20.00 to off set the cost of shooting sports equipment, targets and ammunition. An additional $3.16 will be added to your registration fee at checkout when registering with Eventbrite
