Learn to make a beautiful macrame wall hanging to adorn a deserving space! In this three hour workshop, Sam Pace from The Threaded Wall will guide you through the art form of knot tying to create a striking design. You will have the option to include beads and if you're feeling confident, to bring your own ideas into the work. You will be using beautiful sustainable, recycled t-shirt yarn for this project and complete your work with a wooden hanger, ready for installation.
About the Artist:
Sam is a local artist born and raised in Perth, Western Australia and known for her bespoke wall art and stylist services. Her meticulous attention to detail and unique ability to interpret her client's ideas have her in high demand to stylize boutiques, restaurants and most recently creating bohemian influenced wedding arbours.
The Threaded Wall was created by a chance meeting with a vintage window in downtown Fremantle that was begging for a makeover. Plain and lifeless, Sam challenged her artistic abilities to create a stunning window display.
The window display sits proudly at The Gypsy and The Stylist and since then Sam has continued her journey creating awe inspiring textiles with her individual craftsmanship.
