TEACHER BIO
Daniel Koch founded GrowSPACE in 2015 bring plants back into our urban environment, to green up our cityscapes and by teaching people how to turn their unused space into grow space, with a unique blend of modern innovation, and sustainable gardening techniques.

His self-watering gardens are the most efficient way to grow and are proven to produce more food, in less space and with very little effort. With no digging, weeding, or daily watering required, simply fill your self-watering garden up once a week and watch your plants grow!

His business sense and passion for growing food has taken him all over the country, working with families and schools to corporate businesses and indigenous communities.

His greatest achievement was in 2017 when he gathered people from all walks of life to come together for a Camp & Plant Workshop on the front lawn of Old Parliament House, to pull apart 60 pallets and transform them into 15 self-watering planter boxes to grow food for the local indigenous people at Aboriginal Tent Embassy. This event got commendations from former Prime Minister Bob Hawke and was awarded the Community Action & Well-being Award from Keep Australia Beautiful in 2017.
