Curious about your kinky side but don't know where to start? Do you find yourself unsure of how to talk to your partner(s) about some of the things you'd like to try? Does this event intrigue you (I mean, you clicked on it...)?

Come learn the ropes in a warm, sensitive environment with an experienced sex educator. This event is open to all adults and will be tailored to beginners (though those with experience are encouraged to attend as well). This event will include:

-an overview of several common kinks/types of play
-tactics for starting conversations about kinks and gaining/maintaining consent
-scene norms and etiquette
-safety information
-a "show and tell" of several tools of the trade
- demonstrations
-free copies of helpful resources

Q: Can I take photos/videos?
A: There is a strict no cell phone policy. If you need to make or take an emergency call, you'll need to step outside. To protect the privacy of all participants and presenters, no photography or video will be allowed during this session.

Q: Will there be nudity/sex at this event?
A: No, but expect to see our model's undergarments.

Q: $20?!
A: This event is funded by donations. If you're interested and can't afford that, please come anyway. You are absolutely welcome.

Q: What's up with that content warning on the flyer?
A: "Safe words" will be briefly discussed, and we understand that this may cause discomfort for some audience members.

Q: I am interested, but I am concerned that something will upset me or I will feel uncomfortable.
A: Feel free to email the instructor directly at ExcitingLocalEvents@gmail.com with any questions or concerns. She is happy to respond and will never reveal your information or violate your privacy in any way. This event is intended to be welcoming and fun for everyone who is interested.

About the Instructor:
Our instructor (who will happily tell you her name in person at the event) is an experienced sex educator and teacher who recently moved to the seacoast area from Brooklyn. She loves introducing others to the world of kink/BDSM in a sensitive, smart way, and she takes safety and personal privacy very seriously. She loves the world of kink/BDSM because it combines some of her favorite things: self expression, the arts, and science.
