Please join us for the historical Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Joe Rantz Boathouse on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1 pm.

North Cascades Crew is building the Joe Rantz Boathouse in honor of Joe Rantz, a member of the 1936 University of Washington eight-oared crew that won the Olympic gold medal and the central character in Daniel James Brown’s NY Times Bestseller, The Boys in the Boat. This boathouse will serve as a place for North Cascades Crew to maintain Joe's legacy, continue to cultivate the sport of rowing and positively interact with community members.

NCC would like to extend our gratitude to those who contributed to making this dream a reality | The Rantz Family, Daniel James Brown, Snohomish County Parks & Rec, Dunn Lumber and City of Lake Stevens, WA and our generous donors.

We are truly proud of the hard work, vision and perseverance of our team members at North Cascades Crew.
