Come and join us, as we celebrate becoming the first Action for Happiness “Happy Café” in Bucks. The idea is simple and inspiring: a friendly and welcoming place to meet other people, with a shared interest in promoting happiness and well-being.
We’re delighted to have Sir Anthony Seldon, one of the Co-Founders of Action for Happiness, formally opening the Happy Café and sharing his thoughts on Happiness.
6.30 p.m. Reception - welcome cocktail and canapes
7.00 p.m. Sir Anthony Seldon arrives to formally open our Happy Café
7.15 p.m. Talk by Sir Anthony about the 10 Keys to Happier Living, followed by Q&A’s (40 minutes)
8.15 p.m. Sir Anthony departs/adjourn to the Café for post-talk socialising
9.00 p.m. Event closes
Sir Anthony is Vice-Chancellor of The University of Buckingham and is one of Britain’s leading contemporary historians, educationalists, commentators and political authors. He’s written over 40 books, including inside books on the last five Prime Ministers – Cameron at 10, Brown at 10, Blair Unbound, Major – A Political Life and Britain Under Thatcher.
