IFIP SEC 2018 Capture-the-Flag

This event is coorganized by Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Computing (http://fc.put.poznan.pl/en) and BAE Systems (https://baesystems.com). The competition will be held at Poznań University of Technology, Institute of Computing Science (http://www2.cs.put.poznan.pl/en) during the IFIP SEC 2018 conference (http://ifipsec2018.pwr.edu.pl) and 24th IFIP World Computer Congress (http://wcc2018.org/).

IFIP SEC 2018 CtF Rules:

1 This is an open CtF, no fees, but registration required. Register your team at ctf@cs.put.poznan.pl by June 30, 2018.
Registration message should contain: team name, name and email address of all the team members.
By submitting the registration, contestants give consent to organizers of this competition:
Politechnika Poznańska, Pl. M. Skłodowskiej-Curie 5, 60-965 Poznań,
and BAE Systems (Poland) Sp. z o.o.,ul. Abpa A. Baraniaka 88 61-131 Poznań,
for processing of the registration data in the sole purpose of organization of the competition.
Competitors have access to their data and retain the right to amend or delete it.
2 Anyone can attend. There is no age limit, no profession restriction. Each team may consist of maximum 4 players.
3 The competition is on-side only. Any outside assistance or help is strictly prohibited.

Prizes for the winning teams will be provided (in vouchers) by our generous sponsor, BAE Systems (https://baesystems.com):
First team: 600 EUR
Second team: 400 EUR
Third team: 200 EUR

Additionally, the IFIP SEC conference (http://ifipsec2018.pwr.edu.pl) organizers will be happy to pay the conference entrance fees for all the three winning teams.

On-site accommodation:

We invite all the registered participants to the Lecture and Conference Center of Poznań University of Technology (http://wcc2018.org/map) on the initial day of the IFIP SEC 2018 conference, September 17, 9:00 CET.

We will provide each team with a desk and chairs for 4 people. You need to bring your own equipment (laptops) with WiFi interfaces. We will provide you a wireless access to the online CtF competition system. You'll also get 4 power sockets (type E, 230V). If you have more equipment (e.g. multiple laptops per person) you might want to bring your own extra power strip.

At the noon break (lunch time), there will be a pizza for everyone, offered by our sponsor.
