National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) is an annual event in the United States that promotes victims' rights and services. There are several local events that take place to mark the week of National Crime Victims' Rights Week and each of the events are unique in highlighting crimes impacting famiies that they service. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to victims and communities about the services available to crime victims and how professionals, organizations, and communities must collaborate to provide effective services to victims of crime.

Wynona's House is hosting a public event at Rutgers Universty-Newark (Paul Robeson Campus Center) which encompasses theatrical performances and spoken word to highlight prevalant crimes in Essex County. Furthermore, attendees will be given resources and factsheet as a resource after they have attended the event.
