Nordic Walking is coming to the Wyre Forest!
Nordic Footprints will be running this Fast Track Course and will introduce you to the techniques used in Nordic Walking.
During the 2 1/2 hours course you will cover
1. Pole control and positioning
2. Gears 1- 4
3. How to ascend and descend hill
4. Double polling
You will discover how this fabulous sport can help with posture, balance and co-ordination, reduce impact on your joints and give you a full body workout.
Please be aware that this course takes place on forest paths, areas can be muddy and uneven under foot.
Clothing: Please avoid wearing jeans as these can be quite restrictive and heavy if they get wet.
Footwear: We recommend walking shoes, trainers or boots.
We'll be out for a couple of hours so please do bring a cold drink with you.
Poles are provided.
(On successful completion, Freedom Passports will be given out whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in the cafe, please bring some money for refreshments)
