Are you, or do you know any young people between the ages 18-25, who could be using their artistic talents to earn income?
YES is excited to invite them to apply for the 2018 Spring Session of ‘Business Skills for Creative Youth’, a free program to help young artists of all disciplines to develop their careers in the arts.
The Spring Session begins on Monday April 9th.
This program offers training, coaching and resources and is specifically designed for young people who are not working or in school.
Here is what the participants will get:
• Series of free workshops teaching essential business skills, financial literacy and life skills for those working in the arts
• Individual coaching helping youth to determine their unique path and goals to earn an income within a timeframe
• Individualized service to help young artists connect with mentors, source funding, find work within their field, or launch their own ventures to build long-term careers
• Guest speakers and special events with partners from the Montreal arts community
If you know any artists who would be interested in this program, please encourage them to fill out an application form through the website by Friday April 6th.
