Asia-Pacific's youngest MPs, Australian Senator, Jordon Steele-John and New Zealand Member of Parliament, Chlöe Swarbrick want to hear from young people, 16 and above, about how we make the world a better place!

Upon entering Australia's federal senate in November 2017, Jordon became Australia's youngest-ever Senator. Since joining the senate just 5 short months ago, Jordon has begun a shake up in our federal capital, shifting the way that Australians view young people.

Chlöe Swarbrick was elected in 2017 and is New Zealand's youngest member of parliament. Chlöe became a candidate for the Green Party to fight for people, and our planet. Living in a generation saddled with student debt, diminishing job opportunities, and with an ecological time bomb has taught her to question everything. Chlöe knows our planet has finite resources, yet systemic inequality fuelled by consumption and economic 'growth' at all costs is leading us towards unnecessary demise.

We are faced with a profound problems such as climate change, social inequality and a housing crisis where young people have been locked out of the housing market. Never have we had such an opportunity to do good, and some of our current legislators are throwing that opportunity away. It's the ideas of young people that will shape the future; and provide the solutions to these problems.

Will you come and meet Jordon and Chlöe share your ideas with us for a fairer future?

It's all happening on Friday 20 April at 12:30 in Leederville at the YMCA HQ, 60A Frame Ct, Leederville.
