These lovely friendly Pregnancy Yoga classes allow you to develop strength, flexibility and breath awareness whilst learning positions and movements for labour that can help you birthing your baby. We use movement to ease pregnancy niggles like sore backs, puffy feet and aches around the pelvis. These classes also give you some time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby at this very special time. Also a great way to meet other mums to be in an supportive and friendly environment. NO previous yoga experience required, and all mats etc provided for you.
We will work through calming and focussing breathing techniques, adapted yoga postures for the pregnant body, pelvic floor exercises, stamina building and gorgeous deep relaxations that encourage you to tune into your own body and your baby too, and help you to sleep.
During pregnancy yoga can help to support mothers-to-be both emotionally and physically. These classes give expectant mothers the faith, awareness and practical tools to respond creatively and positively to the challenges of pregnancy, birthing and mothering in the modern world.
Open to women from 14 weeks of pregnancy until the birth of your baby. Start at any time in your pregnancy. Absolutely no previous yoga experience required (and many women have never been to a yoga class before). Everyone welcome - any age, body shape, fitness level.
Cost: £48 per six week term of classes, includes relaxations for use at home between classes. Booking essential. Start anytime in a block.
