Are you ready to take your personal practice to the next level? Specifically designed for the dedicated practitioner that wants to move into advanced postures and deeper meditation practices.
This transformational, moving meditation session begins with spiritual pranayama (breathwork) and dharana (concentration) followed by an in-depth and challenging Namaskar vinyasa practice in the lineage of Hatha Raja Sadhana. Working at your own pace and ability - from lizard pose to king pigeon, from bridge to wheel, from headstand to forearm balance and a multitude of their variations as well as modifications, this non-denominational spiritual practice also includes kriya (cleansing) sets, mudras, and mantras. After preparing the body through these practices, class concludes with extended mystical and meditation practices including psychic development, chakra balancing, kirtan, and sound meditation. Personal attention is given throughout the class, as well as direction toward the true goal of Yoga and spiritual progression. Attend with an open mind and open heart.
Yoga instructors may obtain 2 CEU's upon request.
Prerequisite: At least 6-months yoga practice at Level 1-2 or Power Flow or equivalent. $25 Preregistration/$30 at the door, space permitting.
