The term Hatha refers to the physical expression of Yoga; here, you are given the opportunity to find a deeper connection TO - and stronger awareness OF - your body. This practice blends movement and stillness, challenge and ease, and every class is different-standing, twists, reclined, forward folds, seated, hips, backbends, shoulders-we will explore it all! With a strong focus on alignment, balance and strengthening you will learn the HOW and WHY of yoga asana (poses) so that you can leave this 5 week session feeling confident enough to practice on your own, or in any group setting. Already a seasoned yogi? You will be challenged here too-yoga has a way of giving us exactly what we need!
