Experience the traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga as it is taught in Mysore, India!
Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient system designed for internal cleansing that was recorded by the sage Amana Reship and passed down in sacred tradition. The Ashtanga series is a challenging practice made up of postures linked together through the breath, creating a moving meditation. Students are taught individually in a group setting, in the Mysore style tradition.
In this beginner series students will be introduced to a primary sequence that aligns and detoxifies the body, beginning with Sun Salutations. Each student will receive individual instruction and hands on adjustments as they practice and advance through the series at their own pace.
Whether you are new to yoga, an established yoga practitioner exploring the Ashtanga Yoga system, or have an established Mysore Ashtanga practice you can start here.
Pre-Registration is required. Due to the personalized, progressive instruction in this series, drop-in’s are discouraged. This is a Specialty 6 Class Series and is not included in Memberships or Class Passes.
