Critical Alignment is a method of yoga that uses specialty props to bring healthy movement and strengthening to strained or tense areas.
In this 10-week course, you will learn all the fundamentals of Critical Alignment. Poses focus on the upper and lower back as supporting structures for the rest of the body. We'll look at the relationships between mental and physical stress and strain, and how restoring spinal mobility can help bring strength and freedom of movement to work and sport.
Techniques are easily transferable to day-to-day activities like standing, walking, sitting, and lifting. You can also bring specific ideas about what you want to work on, whether it's gardening, surfing, mountain biking, or just improving your posture.
