6 Week Beginner's Series:
May 2nd to June 6th
This 6-week series is perfect for beginners, novices with some experience, and seasoned practitioners looking for a refresher course for their practice. It will give you a firm foundation for basic asana (yoga poses) and breath work. There will be strong emphasis on connecting breath with movement as well as proper alignment, along with understanding basic Sanskrit and a brief history of yoga.
An optional "Philosophy of Yoga" course will be available for add on at week 7.

Chris McCooey is a Buffalo native who's Yoga journey has taken him far and wide. He came to yoga first as a teen with hopes of improving strength, flexibility, and steadiness of mind as an athlete, student, and plain old human being. He'd later travel to India, twice, to study, practice, and certify as a yoga teacher. While he holds a Master's Degree in Religious Studies and is constantly pursuing higher achievements as an obstacle course athlete, Chris offers a practice that reaches every individual in its simplicity while making space for deepening knowledge and understanding through the experience of practice.
