Like yoga, essential oils have been used for thousands of years to heal and balance the mind-body connection. They are healthy, safe and effective, and can help with many common ailments that affect us on a daily basis. One of the most notable ways they work is by activating the limbic system—the emotional center of the brain. Because they target the emotions linked to memories, using oils in your yoga practice can help bring the mind into a space of focus, concentration and inner peace.
In this 2-hour workshop, you will begin with an introduction to Essential Oils class, followed by a soothing Restorative Yoga class infused with essential oils. All participants will receive an oil-infused goody to take home.
