This four-part series of classes and online lessons will support you in creating a home yoga practice--because in my experience, that’s where the huge, monumental growth happens (and I know the stick-to-it-ness of self-care routines feels sort of impossible).
Creating a home practice doesn’t have to feel so hard, because:
#1. Your routine doesn’t have to include an hour or two of asana every day (or at all).
#2. You can learn to work with your own energy cycle, to both maximize your ability to stick-to-it and ensure that you actually ENJOY your routine.
You will receive weekly video or audio files (via email) every Sunday before class. I’ll talk about the foundations of practice (creating a space and routine that fits with your life), plus how to sync your practice with your energy and the differences between yin- and yang-style practices. On Tuesdays, I’ll offer an in-person, hour-long asana practice that you can bring into your home practice. We’ll move through a few foundational slow flow sequences, plus a yin and restorative sequence. On Thursdays, I’ll send another email with a few notes from practice (pending your questions if you have them) and a reminder to track your energy and how you’re feeling about practice (all for your personal use, this isn’t a class assignment!).
$60 for the series (no drop-ins)
**Each class requires at least six participants (and no more than eight). If fewer than six students sign up, the class will be cancelled, and you will be notified via email by Sunday, April 15.
