Join us as practicing Buddhist, and 10+ year member of the Detroit Zen Center, Dave Killen teaches the fundamentals of Zen meditation. The specific meditation style of Zen involves
focusing on the breath and remaining in the present moment.
Each week you will experience Zen meditation techniques, seated and walking meditation practice and time for discussion.
No experience needed. Meditation props will be provided.
Before the end of the 5 week series there will be an opportunity for a field trip to the Detroit Zen Center to experience their newcomer meditation service and a vegan brunch at their Living Zen Organics Cafe.
