If you let go a little you a will have a little peace; if you let go a lot you will have a lot of peace; if you let go completely you will have complete peace. ”
― Ajahn Chah
Join Jo Eng for a gentle, meditative and deeply relaxing Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) practice, which encourages a letting go of ‘busyness’ and ‘doing’ in order to arrive at a state of simply ‘being’.
During this 3-hour workshop, we will explore the gentle art of ‘letting go’. Letting go is a phrase often used but rarely applied. When fully embraced and understood, letting go can be one of the most profound acts of self-care that we can gift ourselves.
When we truly let go of the things that are no longer serving us, we experience a greater sense of ease, a deeper sense of balance, and feelings of calm and acceptance. Where there is less struggle and resistance, less rushing and striving to achieve, a natural stillness occurs. Through this stillness, we can develop a mindful awareness of the various sensations within the body and the fluctuations of mind, emotions and breath. We can reconnect with how we truly are. This mindful exploration invites us to realise our inner landscape with qualities of self- reflection, acceptance and equanimity. We learn to mindfully pay attention to what is, as it is,
with an attitude of kindness.
Come and enjoy the pleasure and peace of letting go!
