Participants will learn the purpose of practicing meditative vinyasa with intention, how to increase student's somatic experience and why that is important. As well as, learn the impact of disordered breathing on body chemistry and how to help students use practical pranayama exercises in their daily lives to reduce stress and anxiety.
This workshop will begin with an hour long vinyasa class- taught using the skills the workshop will be discussing.

Come prepared to practice. Class will begin exactly at 9:00 a.m. Bring journal, pen, water, and snacks.

Anxious has become the new normal in our society. Learn some anxiety life hacks!

The workshop will begin with a 60 minute vinyasa class that incorporates specific somatic and breath exercises to stimulate your body's relaxation response.

After a short break, you will:
- learn how the techniques in class physiologically impact your nervous system and body chemistry
- understand why it's important to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system (you're relax and digest system)
- create a 10 minute self-regulation practice you can do daily to reduce the effects of stress in your life
- experience a 25 minute yoga nidra

Bring journal, pen, water, and snacks.
