Moment after moment, breath upon breath, we are completely reliant on respiration for our existence but how often do we give this vital, life giving process any attention?
How we breathe is both an indicator of how we live and an instrument for harmonising our lives. While we undoubtedly continue to breathe, many of us have in fact forgotten how to breathe as nature intended. Given our fast paced lifestyle and consistently high stress loads, our breath is often shallow and rigid, closing the feedback loop on a vicious cycle of tension and anxiety. However, just by bringing our attention to the breath and consciously altering it, we can start to train our bodies to breathe differently and in doing so, not only break the vicious cycle of fight or flight activation but also create a virtuous one of rest and regeneration.
This workshop will explore the potency of proper breathing, realigning you with your body’s innate intelligence to feel your best and live to your fullest.
