A powerful self-healing tool, self-myofascial release can assist with relieving tight uncomfortable muscles while helping release toxins and improve circulation. Self-myofascial release is known to relieve pain, enhance alignment, improve joint range of motion and flexibility and reduce nerve irritation symptoms.
In this workshop, we will discuss what fascia is, common causes of unhealthy fascia and how to promote healthy fascia. Furthermore, how fascia affects the function and structure of our muscles and affects the movement and posture of our body.
We will examine and address two of the most common muscle imbalance patterns: upper crossed syndrome and lower crossed syndrome, using massage balls and strengthening postures as our tools of exploration.
