Transform and awaken your inner energy through your body and mind - Hips, Hanuman Splits & Backbending
This is a workshop for students wanting to deepen their yoga practice and shift that heavy energy thats often associated with coming out of winter. It will also be a lot of fun!
This Class with takes you through some flowing back bending incorporating the fundamentals of simple to challenging backbending . We will focus on some more challenging postures such as hanuman splits so we'll need to look at our hips first! Lets look at our resistance to challenging poses and see if we can mold a new approach for our own personal body.
We will use props such as blocks, blankets and chairs to facilitate the opening of the spine. We will explore the roots of stability, balance and openness. We will incorporate a yoga sequence for learning to over- come any constriction in the shoulders, chest, hips, or in the breath.
Come practice Vinyasa Yoga with us to open your body to its full potential.
The teaching method combines a sensitive and mindful approach towards all levels.
