Thrilled to be sharing this next fundraiser; an outdoor Yoga class infused by nature. We will inhabit a green- potentially WILD space- near or around Reading, to support the incredible conservation work of Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust: http://www.bbowt.org.uk/who-we-are.
The 22nd of April is also known as Earth Day- the world's largest environmental movement. https://www.earthday.org/. This is indeed a powerful time to bring awareness to how we inhabit our living planet and come together to communicate our gratitude.
YOGA- all welcome!
This practice will be suitable for all abilities. The guided Hatha class will combine breathing, meditation and asana (postures). Our theme is one very much inspired by the nature that surrounds us with images and primal movements that help us to re-wild, connect and unite!
POT LUCK PICNIC (from 2:15)
Either bring a dish to share or your own picnic and let's enjoy lunch together afterwards, savouring the green space.
Still TBC- hoping to inhabit one of the nearby reserves but if not will source out a local green space.
Please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers and can hire more equipment if necessary. This will also ensure that we have your details should be need to cancel the event due to bad weather.
Please bring your own mat if you have one (and any other props you may find useful- there will be some available). You may want to sit on it after for the picnic!
Comfortable clothing- it is a good idea to wear layers especially for the relaxation as the temperature may drop quite suddenly when outside.
PAY BY DONATION
We do not wish finances to prevent people from joining the class. However, please bear in mind the average cost of a Yoga class is £10 an hour and all proceeds will be going to BBOWT.
Thank you everyone- enjoy the blooming of Spring!
