53 Degrees North announces Slaves and The Horrors as part of a huge outdoor show in Hull City Centre.

Following swiftly on from the announcement of their music industry conference, 53 Degrees North ups the hype with a huge line up that will hit Zebedee’s Yard, a 3,000 capacity historical city-centre arena, on Saturday June 9th.

The captivating yard will see an exclusive outdoor UK headline slot from Slaves, who following two massive albums, are now one of the UK’s leading international bands. There will also be exciting performances from the critically acclaimed The Horrors, Dream Wife, and BBC 6 Music favourites LIFE. These acts are supported by Slaves own label signing Lady Bird, and Hull-based bands Night Flowers and Vulgarians.

The outdoor event is part of 53 Degrees North’s show stopping music industry conference - a Warren Youth Project initiative - back for its second year following the success and impact of last year’s event.

53 Degrees North’s Ysabelle Wombwell commented “This unique and intimate live event is a celebration of cutting-edge and exciting music, we aim to kick back against austerity Britain by ensuring the voices of young people are heard on a national platform!”
53 Degrees North is a Warren Youth Project Initiative - sustaining support for young people through Social Enterprise.
53 Degrees North will be delivered in partnership with Warren Records, Make Noise, The Music Consortium, Under The Influence, Keychange and in association with DIY magazine, The Joe Strummer Foundation and Ticketweb.
