Inversions improve concentration and awareness, they are good for the heart and keep the body strong!
Combining elements of Laura's headstand, Vinyasa and arm balancing workshops, students will learn important strengthening exercises to support the shoulders and core as well as proper alignment techniques to build a safe and steady inversions. We will explore the use of bandhas to fine tune the coordination of movement with breath, as well as seeking fluidity and grace in common transitions.
Students should already have a regular practice in order to more forward with more challenging asanas such as Pincha and Handstand. No Absolute Beginners.
