Once upon a time there was a young musician playing along with some of the most critically and publically acclaimed music acts in Sweden. He played his guitar, sang the background vocals and contributed with his skills for the benefit of the bands he was a member of – but never the founder of.
But growing mature he started to discover his own voice, both literally as a singer and as a songwriter, and a wish to form a new band from his own ideas rose. His name is Bie Karlsson and the band he started is Bonefish.
Since 2013, when releasing its first album, Bonefish has made regular tours in Sweden, Belgium and the UK as well as performing in Swedish nationwide radio. Autumn 2017 a new album Atoms was released and celebrated with a set of acclaimed performances throughout Sweden. During April 2018 Bonefish will visit Germany as part of the Songs & Whispers promotional tour.
Bonefish are Bie Karlsson (guitar and lead vocals), Rasmus Rasmusson (drums and backing vocals), Anders Nylle Thoor (bass and lead vocals) and Matte Norberg (lead guitar and backing vocals).
“…eleven compositions which will provide the listener with a pleasant hour of no-nonsense and catchy rock anthems.” [Rootstime, be]
On their 2nd album, ”Atoms”, Bonefish delivers a genuine listening experience based in their totally unique sound and melodic songs. The new album contains a unique mix of songs, sometimes referring to forerunners like Talking Heads and Television, as well as British 70’s pop music. All masterfully compounded by producer Max Lorentz. [Hemifrån, october 2017]
