The 12 steps and your yoga practice
The 12 steps have changed the lives of countless people with issues ranging from alcohol and drug addiction to shopping, gambling, and food addiction. They have given hope for a new way of life to people struggling with attachment and trying to control their feelings with outside materials.
Join us as we journey into the spiritual principles behind the 12 steps and use those principles to cultivate our yoga practice. During this 4 week workshop we will use our bodies and breath to calm the mind and set intentions for growth and change. We will learn techniques to experience physical sensations and emotions with courage. We will learn to practice compassion for ourselves and others. We will heal and learn to share this healing with others.
$15 per class
$45 for all 4 classes
Class will be held in the new classroom space located at the end of the driveway. Please park along the wall. Overflow parking available at the Hamilton Bank , about 1/4 block down the street.
